KOH PHANGAN

Thailand Koh Phangan, exotic island famous for the full moon party held on Haad Rin Beach every month on full moon night. Literally thousands of party goers dance the night away shoulder to shoulder to the throb of the latest sounds amidst fire dancers, light shows and wild excitement.

Koh Phangan has two sister islands, the larger Ko Samui to the south and the smaller Koh Tao to the north. There are also many tranquil beaches and over 40 resorts and varied types of rustic accommodation to suit every budget.

Access to Koh Phangan is by sea. Hourly ferries leave from Samui’s Bangrak Beach (Big Buddha) to Haad Rin and Thong Sala.  Numerous speed boat services are available from Bangrak, Bophut and Maenam Beaches. High speed ferries on their way to Koh Tao and the Thai mainland also stop over at Thong Sala, Koh Phangan’s main town. Koh Phangan can also be accessed by high speed ferry from Chumphon on the mainland.
